Happy with more miles and more elevation gain. My only disappointment is my longest run being just 9.9 miles (one Clinton Lake loop). That will be longer in December. I'm thinking about more, and longer, ultras in 2022. Might as well start training now. Could there be a 100-miler in my future? Yes! And if that is true, I should run more than 100 miles in a month...if I plan on racing 100 miles in 24 hours.
A blog by a guy named Chris who writes about running. Usually trail running--often at the ultramarathon distance. See you on the trails.

November Run Stats: More Miles
November is typically a transition month. Racing is kind of over, and the weather begins to turn colder and darker. The holiday season starts and time for running can be curtailed. Plus, eating intensifies! Running can go south. But for me, I finally turned in a solid month of miles. Broke 100 for the month (barely). I'm trending in the right direction. More miles means more consistency. Consistency usually means better running. I feel good entering December and plan to pile on more miles. No races scheduled for December, just regular running. Possibly something special for the winter solstice! Here are my run stats for November:
