"Yes" to Forests (and trails)

UPDATE on November 4, 2020: The tax increase proposal passed and the CCFPD will get more funding in the future!

If you live in Champaign County, Illinois, please vote "YES" for the small property tax increase to fund the Champaign County Forest Preserve District (CCFPD). These are the folks that maintain Lake of the Woods, Homer Lake, Middle Fork River, River Bend, Sangamon River, and Kickapoo Rail Trail. All the roads, trails, buildings, rest rooms, shelters, gardens, campgrounds, and educational programs need our support. And, of course, the actual forest and prairie restoration too! If you run, walk, hike, camp, or bike, this is the least you can do to support our county trails. Vote "yes" for the forests. Vote "yes" for the trails. Vote "yes" for the environment. Just vote yes on November 3. The 4,100 acres they oversee need us.
